White Hokkaido

Hakodate is Hokkaido's third largest city, located at the island's southernmost tip. As one of the first three ports in Japan to be opened for foreign trade in 1859, Hakodate experienced contact with various foreign cultures. Stroll along the Old Port Store Street, also known as Red Brick Warehouse. Then, a quick visit to the Motomachi Roman Catholic Church and the white Russian Orthodox Church. Mt. Otaru is a small harbour city located northwest of Sapporo City. Otaru Canal - A picturesque century old stone warehouses along the nostalgic canal. Okurayama Olympic Ski Jump – Renowned for its ski jump and was used for the Sapporo Winter Olympic Games in 1972. Hokkaido Shrine - Built in 1869 and one of the most popular temple in Hokkaido.
